If you haven't already, check out Larry Light's article in the November 12 issue of Advertising Age.
It is called Marketers, Seize the Opportunity to Help Heal Society's Ills. It helps separate the posers from the prophets. And it was fun to read that 360 Vodka is claiming to be the world's first environmentally friendly vodka. This is based on the 85% recycled-content bottle and that all labeling, packaging and promotional materials use 100% recycled paper along with water based inks. Share with us examples of other products that are paving the way...

Green Vodka? If anything will make me want to trade in my Prius for a Hummer this is it.
How pretentious and wrong and just downright uninteresting.

Hey hold on mister or miss "greenwashing". you cannot possibly be faulting a company making meaningful strides to making difference!?! I know that a new vodka may not save endangered species or slow warming but its still a good thing and damn rights interesting! Lets encourage this, however small, rather than taking any progression out at its knees. And quite frankly, i am surprised you have a Prius - whats wrong with a bike, ya hero!

Sorry Countmein, but this is little more than a publicity stunt. I refuse to buy into a 'green label' that clearly has only done the bare minimum to claim the status.
How do you think the vodka makes its way from factory to warehouses to shops? Trucks. I'd bet bottom dollar these trucks offset the pathetic attempt at being 'green'. This is only one example I care to list.
Should we reward this? No. We shouldn't. We should let them know nice try, but its going to take a damn site more effort than this before you deserve recognition.
