DDB Worldwide has taken three top honors on Advertising Age’s 2017 A-List, which recognizes the most outstanding talent in advertising across a variety of categories every year. Specifically, adam&eveDDB was named International Agency of the Year; Alma won Multicultural Agency of the Year; and Wendy Clark, Chief Executive Officer of DDB North America, has been named Executive of the Year.
adam&eveDDB’s recognition comes on the back of the agency winning Campaign’s Agency of the Year for the third straight year as well as being selected Agency of the Year at the IPA Effectiveness Awards.
Alma’s win marks its sixth A-List honor since 2010 and third Multicultural Agency of the Year win in the last four years. This recognition comes after Alma was named the first U.S. Agency of the Year ever by FIAP (Festival Iberoamericano de Publicidad) in 2016.
Wendy Clark was named one of Ad Age’s Executives to Watch in 2016, so it should come as no surprise that after an impressive first year at DDB she has taken home the Executive of the Year prize for 2017. Wendy’s win acknowledges her achievements as DDB North America’s leader during successful pitches for accounts like State Farm, Time Warner Cable, and McDonald’s. It also recognizes her establishment of the brand-new We Are Unlimited agency and the DDB Flex model.
Congratulations to all our winners. We’re excited to see what 2017 has in store!
