DDB Worldwide is thrilled to have three campaigns featured in the annual ACT Responsible exhibition at the 2016 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The exhibit showcases work created by DDB Chicago, DDB Copenhagen, and el tier DDB Centro. The space is open to festival delegates from Saturday, June 18, to Saturday, June 25, at the Palais des Festivals, Foyer Debussy.
This year’s ACT Responsible exhibition features 80 exceptional creative ideas from 63 agencies in support of good causes, allowing “agencies to celebrate the best side of advertising at the most prestigious event of the industry.” The campaigns selected from each of the three DDB agencies are:
- “Advantage Humans” by DDB Chicago
- “Cool Without Smoking” by DDB Copenhagen
- “Sponge Children Kitchen” by el taier DDB Centro
In addition to the exhibition, ACT Responsible has officially opened voting to the public to decide which works will receive a Cannes ACT Tribute during the festival. Voters will choose three campaigns from each of four categories — “Education,” “Planet,” “Solidarity,” and “Human Rights” — for the Tributes. The winning works will be celebrated at the ACT Tributes announcement on Friday, June 24, at 11 am in the Foyer Debussy. Voting is open from now until June 23 at 12 pm.
ACT Responsible is an international nonprofit association created in 2001. ACT stands for Advertising Community Together.
