DDB Latvia made history at the 2012 Password EFFIE marketing achievement competition by sweeping all four awards for effectiveness.
“SSE Riga Alumni donation campaign” won both the Grand Prix and Gold in the Social Media Campaign category. The winning donation campaign platform attained the highest donor engagement rate in Europe.
The best Low Budget campaign was awarded for “Ventspils – a State within a State,” which earned the City of Ventspils â‚¬250,000 in free media attention. The campaign also gave the City a new record for visitors at 500,000.
The highest award in the Business category was awarded to “Okatre’s Library,” a campaign that attracted enormous attention and yielded a 27% increase in sales for the mobile communications card business.
With this sweep of awards, DDB Latvia strengthened its position as Latvia’s most effective agency.
The Password Effie’s identifies effective marketing campaigns that create real added value for businesses. The competition is organized in collaboration with the American Marketing Association (AMA) and is held in 30 different countries throughout the world.
