DDB picked up five gold, six silver and four bronze at the 2017 Epica Awards, which took place in Berlin on November 16th. Two of the gold went to Verba Italy for their Audi Intelligent Assistance campaign, one to DDB Argentina and Volkswagen for “Distance Control,” one for adam&eveDDB and Volkswagen for “Alien,” and the fifth gold was awarded to Naga DDB Malaysia for “The Sickest Mannequin Challenge” – a campaign against child prostitution. In addition, Volkswagen picked up a brand tribute award for consistently good creative work.
Other awarded work went to clients such as IKEA, Getty Images, Elkjop, PEN International Sweden, Verein fur Berliner Stadtmission and Intermarche.
The Epica Awards is a global award show with a difference: it is the only international creative prize judged by the marketing and communications press.
