DDB Worldwide earned 100 Lions at this year’s Cannes Festival, including 12 Gold, 28 Silver, and 58 Bronze. This placed DDB at #5 among the top agencies in the world at this year’s festival.

DDB’s Lions come from 19 offices across the network, with the DDB European region leading the way with a total of 54 Lions. Top work recognized at the festival from DDB includes adam&eveDDB’s “Buster the Boxer” for John Lewis and “Give the Rainbow for Skittles,” which both accumulated six Lions each. Alma DDB from DDB Latina also made a splash at Cannes this year with their “Spanish Lessons” campaign for Netflix’s Narcos, which took home seven Lions including two Gold.

In addition to winning Lions, DDB participated in a main-stage master class in emotional storytelling from adam&eveDDB with the IPA. Also, DDB Chairman Emeritus Keith Reinhard participated in his annual engagement with the Berlin School of Creative Leadership with multiple sessions throughout the week during which he discussed storytelling and its place in modern advertising.

DDB North America Chief Executive Officer Wendy Clark also served as Jury President for the Glass Lions Jury to recognize work in the industry that breaks down stereotypes regarding gender equality.
