Spike DDB Seeks to Change Attitude of Young African Americans in New Orleans

Spike DDB in partnership with New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and the Urban League of Greater New Orleans unveiled a new provocative anti-crime ad campaign aimed at abating the city’s murder rate. The campaign is entitled “Flip the Script” and focuses on changing the attitudes of young African Americans in New Orleans. The campaign is part of the “Nola for Life” initiative spearheaded by Mayor Landrieu that aims to halt the city’s murder rate, which is ten times the national average.

The campaign sets out to bring positive change by shifting negative perceptions of NOLA. The campaign features print, radio, television, billboards and online spots throughout the city.
