DDB Worldwide announced today that three of the agency’s campaigns have been selected as nominees for the 2014 Facebook Studio Awards, which celebrate the brands and agencies producing best-in-class advertising work on Facebook. The winners will be announced on Facebook’s website April 29, 2014.
DDB Chicago and State Farm’s “State Farm Double Down,” DDB Paris and Musée de la Grande Guerre’s “Facebook 1914,” and DDB Argentina and Moviestar’s “My Friend at the Reach of My Hand” are among the campaigns vying for the top honor, a Facebook Studio Blue Award.
The Facebook Studio Awards, now in their third year, selected finalists from hundreds of submissions, representing 17 countries from around the globe. Finalist campaigns reflect a range of the most successfully executed creative programs with the highest display of technical expertise. Awards are broken down into Blue, Gold, Silver and Bronze distinctions. As in previous years, the annual Studio Awards will also recognize work created for charitable/nonprofit organizations with a special award designation: Facebook for Good.
Chris Ferguson, Executive Creative Director of Tribal Worldwide New York, is among the expert panel of industry professionals judging the Facebook Studio Awards. Fellow jury members include executives from advertising agencies such as Mother, Leo Burnett, Y&R, AKQA, Droga5, Barton F. Graff 9000, and more. Judging was completed based on the following criteria three: craft and execution, scale and targeting and business results.
The public is encouraged to employ their personal Facebook or company pages to “vote” for their favorite campaigns and “share” their support.
