Junior Data Analyst, Digital Analytics

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst who will pair their skills in statistical data analysis and/or marketing experience to deliver valuable insights driven strategies for our internal teams and clients. In this role, you will be driven to find solutions for sophisticated challenges that span across creative, strategic, technical and analytical dimensions.

 

You will be a strong and confident communicator in order to be capable in finding and applying data-driven insights to lead business and marketing strategies. You are adaptable to many different levels of data availability, and willing to learn many technology platforms/toolsets.

 

You will have an opportunity to work with industry leading big brands and grow their skills across the full spectrum of data science in the field of digital analytics and customer analytics.

 

You Will

  • Be a key member of the Track DDB team/culture with the majority of your time spent on-site within our Clients Analytics team.
  • Support analytics projects of varying sizes and complexities: including creating and supporting automated reports and dashboards, post campaign analysis, ad hoc analyses, web analytics.
  • Assist in driving strategy for customer acquisition, loyalty and conversion by performing analyses, developing driven insights and recommending approaches and solutions to meet short/long term client objectives/goals.
  • Use advanced analytics techniques on large data sets for the purpose of delivering ad hoc analysis and insights.
  • Facilitate and perform consistent and reliable data collection, data enrichment, data integration and attribution processes, in addition to utilizing primary and secondary research methods.
  • Post campaign performance analysis using summary statistics and analysis across segments and variables.
  • Creation of post campaign reports/presentations that are engaging, client-friendly, insightful, incorporating best practices in data visualization and story-telling, on an ad hoc/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.

 

You Must Have

  • Undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, business analytics, or marketing. New Grads encouraged to apply!
  • Ability to be self-managed, work independently as well as to collaborate within an agile, fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Eager to learn new skills and passion for analyzing data.
  • Data visualization skills and presentation skills to simplify and package complex ideas into intuitive, decision driving client presentations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and working experience with SQL and data visualization platforms such as Tableau is preferred.

 

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics (Omniture), and a sound understanding of email/web metrics.
  • Good knowledge of data wrangling, data blending, descriptive statistics and analytics techniques and insights generation.
  • Sound understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Amazon Redshift etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx.

This individual is expected to be experienced and capable of identifying and guiding winning strategic and tactical new business pursuits. This candidate will be able to use his/her current depth of knowledge of advertising and marketing, along with a swiftly-acquired knowledge of agency history, case studies, current business and strategic direction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Helping to define and develop new business strategies tailored to each office and agency
  • Following up on new business leads and identifying growth opportunities
  • Prioritizing opportunities
  • Defining new business processes, and managing in conjunction with EVP, Director of Business Development for the US
  • Contributing to capabilities presentations and other marketing materials

The Director of Creative Technology, a peer to Creative and Planning Directors, orchestrates and leads technology & data facets of all marketing deliverables. These include brand building, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts across all clients. Reporting into the Chief Digital Officer and working closely with account and strategy leads, this person will serve as the subject-matter expert on technology platforms (web, social, e-mail, mobile) and liaise with media and other agency partners to drive growth for our clients. Strong analytical skills and a customer-centric marketing approach is required for this role.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Digital Strategy & UX – Collaborate with strategy leads on the brand strategy and go deep on digital channels (web, social, e-mail, commerce), as needed
  • Media Alignment – Working with media partners the buy including Display, Paid Search & Social, Affiliates, etc.
  • Optimization – Drive channel optimizations for web, e-commerce, and conversion rate optimizations specific to channels (SEO, CPC/CPA, etc.)
  • Messaging & Content Strategy – Work closely with strategy leads on build and maintenance of customer acquisition and retention strategies, ongoing email promotions and content for prospects and existing customers.

Requirements:

  • Deep prior experience with digital-specific architectures, strategies and execution/implementation
