Production Business Manager

A PBM is a process champion who drives seamless workflow for on-time and on-budget delivery of assets. This is someone who has tireless enthusiasm for the details. This individual that can work closely with others to interpret ideas and collaborate towards a common outcome of creating entertaining and engaging content and assets for agency clients.

Areas of Accountability:

  • Support the Agency’s production process by putting to use best practices to ensure an efficient, reliable and accurate workflow
  • Build a strong and positive working relationship with producers, creatives and account teams to review work, resolve issues, and provide solutions
  • Build on skills to review commercial and content concepts/scripts to advise on hiring talent, securing third party rights and ultimately contracting with all third parties and all performers
  • Master the internal accounting process, procedures and relevant software
  • Actively advise on all budgets and provide solutions to help stay within client approved budget while producing best creative work
  • Develop and fine tune skills in reviewing performer contracts, screen finished commercials to ensure all rights are obtained, develop final cast reports and renegotiate contracts when necessary
  • Support a process for tracking and managing license/usage agreements
  • Support all additional business production needs as they arise

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college
  • 3+ years of experience as a Production Business Manager or similar role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a great, fast paced and talented production and post production team.
  • Strong working knowledge of the SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract and the American Federation of Musicians Contract
  • Innovative thinking that is essential to manage the quickly evolving production environment and new media opportunities
  • Experience with integrated, non-broadcast and offshore productions is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills

Production Manager

A Production Manager is a senior-level production business-focused professional who partners with Executive Producers to manage production activity one or more client accounts. This is someone who has tireless enthusiasm for the details, and for mentoring other Production department personnel. This individual works closely with others to interpret ideas and collaborate towards a common outcome of creating entertaining and engaging content and assets for agency clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Master the internal accounting process, procedures and relevant software. Partner with Agency Accounting and Finance teams to resolve any issues that evolve

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead all teams through the creative and production process with strong communication between creative, strategy, account, business affairs and partners. This starts with the kick-off and end with archiving, reconciliation and debrief.

Managing all logistical aspects of production; scoping the job, budgeting, creating the project plan and calendar, the bidding and contract process, billing and invoice tracking, coordinating meetings and sessions with pre and post production partners.

Communicate project status to team and clients on a regular basis, maintain internal status reports. Ensure proper change management documentation is executed as scope changes or project priorities shift, and that new requirements and deadlines are communicated to the team. 

Experience with managing a wide range of digital projects, including banners, emails and website updates.

Collaborate closely with creative and design teams to provide inspiration during creative development.

Develop nimble, efficient models for production at scale and adjust that plan when needed.

Qualifications:

Strong Reel/Portfolio – that demonstrates a passion for creativity, a commitment to the best production values regarding budget, and an ability to build on an already great idea through production choices and creative problem-solving.

Experience– 5 to 7 years relevant production experience with an emphasis in digital.

Results-Oriented – a proven track record of delivering results that demonstrates superb quality and integrity of the work.

Collaboration – the ability to partner and work with production, creative and account teams, developers, vendors, and clients. 

Flexibility – you can adapt to new ideas, processes and business problems with ease and enthusiasm.

Social Producer

Responsibilities Include:

  • Being the point person on specific production projects
  • Managing day-to-day production activities for assigned projects, including leading pre-production, talent outreach, production, editing, and post-production.

The Role

 

We are looking for an experienced Production Artist to join our team. In this role you will work with Creative and Account Teams to execute projects to final files based on the vision of the creative team and production specifications. Our ideal candidate considers their skill at the intermediate to senior level and is an individual that is comfortable working within tight timelines.

In the role of Production Artist, your day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
