Project Manager

The Role

We are looking for an experienced comms Project Manager to join our team and hit the ground running on a thriving, busy, integrated account, managing UK comms for a leading automobile brand.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day, working with integrated teams in the building, staying ahead of the client needs, and on top of the quality and timely execution of digital advertising assets in a fast-paced environment. 

You will thrive in this type of situation and have the skills to ensure you support and develop efficient, effective delivery, whilst keeping the creative output high.

You will have a firm grasp of Project Management capabilities, able to effectively plan, control and close projects within agency process, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress and have an appreciation of the connections between multiple suppliers and the other projects that make up a campaign, including the activity on the main website.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Managing many stakeholders, integrated team members and key resources through the end to end delivery of campaign assets.
  • Ensuring the most effective strategies and techniques for maintaining speed, effective cost and high creative output.
  • Project Management duties; scoping and planning, resource organisation, budget management and reporting, risk mitigation and status and communication execution.
  • Effective coordinating and tracking of high volume assets through to media traffiking.
  • Obtaining timely signoff of deliverable, phase and final project acceptance documents.
  • Interrogation and investigation of media plans including not only the formats and placements, but determining whether creative executions will work.
  • An eye for the detail, last line support in quality.

 

Essential Skills/Competencies

  • Proven track record at managing and delivering digital communications campaigns
  • Proven knowledge of digital display formats, media plans and delivery
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Financial acumen and good understanding of project profitability
  • Experience working with digital measurement and reporting tools, also agency stakeholders involved in this process (e.g. planning, tech)
  • Experience implementing processes and ensuring quality of delivery for cross channel projects
  • Sound knowledge of web and related technologies
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to get team members from different disciplines to come together as a team and ability to lead team members to deliver on schedule and within budget constraints in a constructive manner
  • Multi-tasking of multiple projects keeping abreast of current status and forward plans
  • Thorough understanding of the principles of Project Management and appropriate methodologies and processes; PMP certification from PMI, or Prince 2 certification strongly desired

Digital Project Manager (Web Design & Build)

The Role

We are looking for a strong Digital Project Manager to join a highly successful team to work, exclusively at first, as part of an account team on one of our prestigious clients. Working closely with design, development and account teams, you will be defining the solution to meet our clients’ requirements, delivery schedule and budgetary estimates through to successful delivery; ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.

The role will mostly be working on Digital Creative work, microsite builds, maintenance and support of existing websites and social workstreams. Strategy, UX, conceptual design through to development and, where required, may assist in the development of new website build production as part of the role. 

This role will suit a self-motivated team-player with digital expertise, great people skills and great attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage project resource to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
  • Produce and manage all project budgetary estimates.
  • Proactively manage the scope, timings and priority of projects ensuring no work outside the agreed scope is undertaken.
  • Thorough understanding of the principles of Project Management and appropriate methodologies and processes including techniques for digital solutions including requirements definition, sitemaps, schematics and wireframes, web analytics, etc.;
  • Proactively manage all financial aspects of projects, managing all cost implications, burn rates and taking remedial action where these have deviated from agreed budgets;
  • Own the client relationship and day-to-day stakeholder management in the context of delivery of your specific projects;
  • Proactively manage the financial reporting and projections and utilisation reporting on a project-by-project basis.
  • Maintain and develop Quality Assurance processes for your projects ensuring Tribal Worldwide procedures are consistently applied to manage project risk.
  • Oversee and maintain day-to-day project lifecycle processes.
  • Own the coordinating, tracking, and organising client handoff of all project work.
  • Coordinate production traffic.
  • Obtain timely signoff on Client deliverables, project phases and final project acceptance documents.
  • Take on any other responsibilities or tasks that are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

  • Proven track record of experience delivering creative projects as well as managing technology/web projects of significant scale and complexity and identifying project risk;

  • Must have strong client-facing skills; experience managing clients at a variety of levels and across functions and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, as our client is located within the same building;
  • Process orientated, with clear and proactive communication focus, with a sprinkle of commercial acumen thrown in;
  • Excellent communication skills; must deals well with conflict, work effectively under pressure with a solutions-based focus;
  • Experience and ability to communicate effectively with 3rd party suppliers and coordinate projects with an off-site team;

Workfront Admin

  • The Global System Administrator “owns” the DDB instance of Workfront across the enterprise, and is set as the System Administrator in the Workfront System Settings in the DDB instance.
  • Responsible for inter-team/office and instance-wide governance, meeting with the Local Administrators appointed within individual offices on a regular basis.
  • Serves as an expert point-of-contact for Local Administrators should questions or issues arise.
  • Serves as the final point of contact in the internal issues escalation path – users would report issues to their Local Admin, if the Group Admin is unable to resolve, the issue is escalated to the Global Admin who then liaises with Workfront Support as needed to rectify.
  • Responsible for preparing for, and being knowledgeable in the details of  upcoming Workfront product releases, understanding the impact on current DDB work processes, and coordinating with Local Admins on necessary system changes, end user training/communication on upcoming updates, etc.
  • The Global System Administrator would be involved in implementation of any new groups/offices on-boarded into Workfront to ensure best practices and instance integrity are maintained.
  • Willingness to gain in-depth understanding of Workfront by completing the entire Workfront Administrator training (including advanced courses), and re-training when necessary (including trainings and webinars on upcoming product releases).
  • Understands business processes well enough to make Workfront system decisions regarding notifications, timesheets, general company preferences, etc.
