Prior to founding EJE, Edgardo was president of Foote, Cone & Belding (FCB) Puerto Rico and area manager for FCB Mexico, Caribbean and Central America. He received the Top Management Award from the Puerto Rico Sales and Marketing Executives Association and was president of the Advertising Agencies Association of Puerto Rico.
Rivera currently serves as board member for the nonprofit Jóvenes de Puerto Rico en Riesgo and as public interest representative in the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee.
Edgardo is a graduate of Tennessee University and represented Puerto Rico in several international athletic competitions. He was recently exalted as immortal athlete in the Puerto Rican Sport Hall of Fame.
Renta started his advertising career in 1984 as a copywriter at FCB Puerto Rico and became Executive Creative Director and Managing Partner.
Enrique has lead his team to win the recognition of the most prestigious award shows: Cannes Lions, Clio, New York Festivals, One Show, AHAA, London International and FlAP, as well as the local Cúspide Awards. He is the first Creative ever to receive the Top Management Award from the Puerto Rico Sales & Marketing Association. Served as juror at FlAP, The New York Festivals, Advertising Age’s AHAA, Wave Festival Rio and Ojo de lberoamérica, among others.
Renta has served as college professor, lecturer and is a renowned artist as well.
López began his career in 1981 at FCB Puerto Rico. Later, he joined Edgardo Rivera as account director and started Park Advertising & Marketing, a True North Communications Affiliate. His high achievement level resulted in his appointment as president of Park Advertising and as assistant regional director for FCB Caribbean.
José has bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, as well as a MBA from Colorado State University. Sánchez has held all board positions of the Advertising Agencies Association of Puerto Rico and has been a strong collaborator of the Puerto Rico Sales & Marketing Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
