Cheryl Horsfall Contributes to Little Black Book’s “A Guide to American Immortal Creativity”
Ahead of the Immortal Awards judging, American industry leaders shared the ads that live forever in their creative minds.
Cheryl Horsfall, Executive Creative Director, adam&eveDDB New York was chosen to discuss her thoughts, and she chose to highlight our work on Volkswagen’s “Karmann Ghia” and Change the Ref’s “Ballots Against Bullets.”
Regarding the second, which comes out of our sister agency alma, Cheryl notes: “Using graphics of voting ballots over bullet hole scars on the survivors’ bodies, this campaign actually made people think about who they were voting for in midterm elections and their record for supporting (or in this case NOT supporting) gun law reform. Support for gun control increased compared to previous midterm elections.” Cheryl concludes that often it takes a conversation that is very real to make a true point, and hopefully an impact.
