Matt Blitz and Trends of Production
In the digital age, shifting trends lead to endless creative ideas in the production field. As a leading figure in the industry, Head of Integrated Production at DDB Chicago, Matt Blitz shares his experiences as a producer and advice he’s collected along the way with Little Black Book’s Addison Capper.
“I always tell producers to not fear failure. What we do as producers, in a world where every idea is seemingly new and never been done before, is hard. We are the experts at figuring it out and to get the best solution, we will trip and fall along the way, but those missteps will almost always lead to the best solution.” said Blitz.
Blitz joined DDB in 2017 as SVP, executive producer, and he was recently promoted from to Head of Integrated Production at DDB Chicago. He holds over 20 years of experience and more than 300 awards for multiple clients from various international awards, including Cannes, Art Director’s Club, D&AD, Clios, Andys, LIA and One Show, to name a few.
In his fifth year with DDB Chicago, Blitz is eager to nurture the next generation of producers with his experiences, and also address critical ideas among professional production and creator economy.
