NORD DDB Launches NORD FTW to Power Brands Into the Gaming Arena
NORD DDB has officially launched NORD FTW (For The Win), a new Nordic unit dedicated entirely to gaming and esports. The specialized team will help game studios and publishers cut through a saturated market with creative strategies designed for players.
The unit is led by Paul Rietz, Nordic Lead, and Tim Fremmich Andresen, Creative Director, who will work closely with the DDB FTW Worldwide network. “The gaming industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world,” said Rietz. “With 50 new games launching daily, standing out demands communication that truly resonates.” NORD FTW has already worked with top names like Wargaming (World of Tanks) and Keen Games (Enshrouded), and even helped a major sports brand activate in Roblox and Fortnite. The launch represents a significant scale-up of NORD DDB’s efforts in gaming and reinforces DDB’s investment in culturally relevant, niche-focused offerings.
The Nordic region, home to many leading game developers, is seen as a critical growth hub for this initiative.
